Dear Friends,

It is my sad task to let you know that David Pasquarelli is currently
hospitalized and is not expected to survive long.  After his unjust
incarceration two years ago, David has battled a string of serious health
issues.  He has bravely fought CMV in his nervous system since August of last
year, but is now losing that fight.

David would like to thank all those that have supported him during his
incarceration and subsequent illness.

You can send good thoughts to David or get more information through me at
sghuggins@hotmail.com or ACT UP SF at actupsf@hotmail.com or 415-864-6686.

Sadly,
Steve

P.S. - please feel free to forward this message on to anyone who may know Dave.

Wow, I actually feel sorry for him.  Who'da thunk it?

I mean he was the biggest creep back when he was alive but he seems so
human and pathetic in death.

He didn't get in jail by accident.  He f.cked with people constantly
for years and years before that happened.  He basically destroyed
ACT/UP SF but not single-handedly.

But now I don't think a death sentance was the right thing at all.
Seems way too severe.

Dave's life seems so commercially-exploitable to me.  Imagine a
made-for-TV movie "Dave Pasquarelli: Portrait of an AIDS Denialist".
What footage of Dave knocking over tables at serious public meetings
of PWAs, snarling at girl scouts:

Hey Wendell,

Thanks for putting your name in print.  Now we can add yours to
Pasquarelli and Belfountaine.  Now we have the names of three of the
six
who pushed a table over a blind PWA, who disrupted a conference for
the
sake of getting publicity.  Oh yeah, who harrassed a couple of girl
scouts.

Well Mr. Wendell, let us see how tough you really are.  Print your
address
and phone number.  As well as the address and phone numbers of your
co-horts.

You are about to see what a "police matter" this has become.

You are all more than an insult to the HIV community, you are an
insult to
human kind.

You have not heard the last from us.

Back when he fooled Rolling Stone.  Back when the GQ interview failed
to ellicit sympathy and made him and the former Ronnie Burk look so
weird.

So much material to draw on.  I'm sure you could cut it down to 30
minutes and pad it out with another 30 min of commericals and people
would watch it.

Is he dead yet?

Unjust?  What kind of a fucktard makes death threath phone calls right
after the 9-11 disaster when the law is trying to clamp down on
everything?

Well we can see that he never stooped to using HAART.  A true man of
principles.

Thanks to both of you out there.  Too bad David had you fooled.

Just don't send any SPAM to sghuggins@hotmail.com OK?
