Ah--this is what Duesberg rests his ridiculous claim that HIV is
harmless upon. So this serves to underscore that HIV exists (Duesberg
realizes this) and that, yes, infection that results in antibody
production does not correlate with protection.

The same is true for ineffective vaccines if the strength of that
immune response is inadequate. There is also the need for stimulating,
appropriately, cell-mediated immunity.

With some infectious diseases this can be done successfully. Polio,
for example. Small pox. With others, it can be done with less
efficacy. Hepatiits B where the vaccine's benefits may wane over time.

So THIS post actually helps refute a major pillar of denialist
thinking.
