Antibodies and immunity

I have to read more about this one, but from different things I have
read, I am thinking that a lot of these theories of antibodies and
immunity are really off. Think that this theory of exposing someone to
something in an effort to build future immunity is probably just wrong,
bad science, probably just more about chemical reactions and not about
the body 'remembering' something? I have read many times about
outbreaks of different diseases in populations who have been vaccinated
against this or that? Even statements in mainstream medical
publications admitting that vaccines don't necessarily cause immunity?
And I am not talking about folks who haven't had 'boosters,' etc. Also,
have read that immunity is a lot more complicated than just in relation
to antibodies anyway? Friendly bacteria is essential to immunity,
protects all of our tissues and there are many things which can disrupt
friendly bacteria in the body including synthetic antibiotics, alcohol,
coffee, etc.? Think a lot of this germ theory stuff is probably just
wrong as well. I have read a lot that folks need to focus more on
'terrain?' That the pH balance, levels of friendly and protective
bacteria, in the body is very important? Many things can disrupt pH
balance in the body. Read about the importance of pH balance in the
mouth, oral/dental care. Also, how important exercise is to move lymph,
move toxins out of the body, bring adequate amounts of nutrients and
oxygen to all of the cells, etc.? Of course, proper nutrition.

Believe it was more likely that pesticides, air pollution, other forms
of pollution, malnutrition, stress kills birds rather than this 'west
nile virus?' Think that perhaps with different viruses people are
taking viruses which are found in the bodies of animals anyway, and
trying to blame these things for illness and death rather than other
environmental factors such as pollution, chemical toxins, a combination
of things? If pesticides, MTBE, etc., were killing birds in urban areas
on hot smoggy days, it might be in the interest of the chemical
industry to blame it on a virus which can be found in the bodies of
birds anyway? Read that this problem with bogus tests, and bogus 'viral
isolation methods' is not just being used in relation to 'HIV' but also
in relation to different viruses such as Hep C, 'Bird Flu?' What else?
Can't remember off the top of my head right now. Read that 'Mad Cow
Disease' in the UK a few years back was really being caused by some fly
eradication campaign where folks were being ordered to spray their cows
down their spines with toxic pesticides? I could believe it.

It would be kind of nice if you read some immunology texts so you had
some semblance of knowing what the f.ck you're talking about, dear.
