Hello all,

I am a senior at the George Washington University and I am conducting
research on disclosure of HIV/AIDS positive individuals to their
friends and family. I am looking for a few people who would be willing
to tell me about themselves and how they chose to tell or not to tell
people in their lives about their seropositivity. The information that
I gather will be confidential ( I have forms to assure that) and
compiled into my thesis.

I assure you, this is a serious research project and I will not take
this topic lightly. I understand that some people will not agree with
what I am asking. However, I have the approval of the Internal Research
Board at my University and can send the appropriate forms via email if
you would like. You can contact me at katebertles@hotmail.com for
further questions and information.

Thank you so much for your consideration and I hope to hear from you
soon,

Kate Bertles

Then you should provide full and complete information about who you
are, with whom you are working specifically at GWU, how to contact
you, etc.

Otherwise, how do we know you're not some sick, psychotic kook from
the religious right who wants to use information about HIV+ people to
have them persecuted, etc.?
