As I predicted last week:

"Typical of the week before Christmas, almost nobody dies
of anything in San Francisco."

Alas, to the great disappointment to my critics
(esp George Mohammed Carter), the Obituaries
for this week are vacant - there were NO DEATHS!

As in the past, the Die-Off should resume after the first
of the year.

Happy New Year.

============================

Susie,

your critics and supporters will be waiting for the January 5th Antiviral
Obituary update.

I've heard this sort of thing happens in China as well.  Almost nobody
passes on just before their new year celebrations, but they leave this
world in droves soon after.

Indeed - a testament to the power of hypnosis on a grand scale,
not much different than the hypnotic HIV hypothesis.
