When we found Warren (golly its been almost 20 years!) he was sleeping
in a rat-gnawed, orange sleeping bag in analley off of Polk Street,
dumpster-diving for dinner, and tricking for Mogen-David wine.  We
helped him get back on his thorazine and other meds, paid for MANY
courses of Flagyl to rid him of the parasites in his alimentary canal,
and eventually got him enrolled in a local community college.

Warren did pretty well, took some criminology courses, and landed a job
as a Probation Officer.  As a less-than-butch gay man, he was not
accepted by the criminal justice system, and was drummed out under
questionable circumstances.  He landed on his feet, though, and became
a licensed acupuncturist.

Sadly, he concluded that Chinese herbs could take the place of
thorazine, a medication which "made him tired," and the old demons
returned. After inappropriate behavior with Bay Area youths, Warren was
incarcerted an lost his California acupuncture license.

Now, HE'S BACK, high on Tina, paradoxically fatter than ever,
toothless, and spending his evenings chasing his imaginary nemeses on
misc.health.aids.

Warren, I pray for your soul.
