Biologists talk about populations, mutations, and differences in the
reproductive competence of alleles.  Creationists talk about Darwin.

Physicists talk about the effects of motion on our observations of
moving objects.  Relativity debunkers talk about Einstein.

Medical researchers talk about HIV, CD4 cells, opportunistic
infections, drugs.  AIDS dissidents talk about Gallo.

Scientists talk about the theory.  Cranks talk about the theorist.

The remarkable thing about the current dissident-driven discussion
is that it is almost entirely about the character and motivations
of scientists.  The actual subject matter over which the dissidents
and the mainstream disagree -- HIV and AIDS -- is only mentioned
tangentially.

Immunologists talk about IgM, IgA, and IgG antibodies, T-cells,
NK-cells and cytokines. Antivaccination-kooks talk about Pasteur.

Right.  The immunologists do that in the hope that others don't understand
gobbledygook.  By using enough professional jargon, they hope to keep
ordinary people from listening in when they're exchanging stories about
crazy theories.

I see. So you think "IgM, IgA and IgG antibodies" constitute
gobbledygook?

Your argument here appeals to anti-intellectualism.

Celia Farber exposes the embarrassing truth about the corrupt
AIDS pharmaceutical establishment ... Canzi talks about Farber.

Thank you, Mr. Canzi, for your generous stupidity!

So, Fred, you now claim HIV is harmless?

Of course, you'll have to attack now!!

Notice how Conman Carter struggles to moderate this newsgroup
by changing the subject for the purpose of designating this or
that person as an object (e.g. "denialist").

Thus either the Canzi stupidity is infectious among the pharma
set, or the Carter-Stein-Canzi trio is one and the same.

I believe both assertions hold true.

Yes...indeed...I see. And you like to accuse others of psychiatric
troubles, paranoia and the like....

...yes, it's much clearer now.

Hey! I have no interest in moderating this group. Never have. Odd
tactic, dear...but let's see. You're evincing signs of psychosis while
screaming the everyone else is crazy...and now you've been living
under the delusion that I control this group.

So the conclusion is I guess you are wanting to be the one in control.
And you so are not.

Wowie, kiddo. Think you'll find any peace before you shuffle off what
must be a very miserable mortal coil for you?

As "they say" about smack addicts: "you can't believe
a f.cking thing they say".

Amen, brothers and sisters. Amen!

believe yourself to be the Second Coming? Hmmm....

Dear, you should've stuck with the Napoleon Complex. Suits you better!

Geez, perhaps Carter's megalomania is self-serving!
