I am looking for an hiv doctor who is well respected by
the people he/she has treated.  The location is San Jose California.

Thanks.

You might call SFAF up in the City and see if they have a list.

Ask for Bruce Mirken, that is, if he isn't in jail for molesting
children (given his arrest record in Sacramento while using
SFAF time and resources in the effort to have sex with a
preteen boy who turned out to be an undercover cop).

Or better yet, call Neverland for a referral... LOL!

Frodlet, what you're doing is committing libel. So I've passed your
comments along to him.

No, Carter - YOU have committed libel here.

I have merely recited the facts according to the
Sacramento police department as released and
published in various publications.

One can easily understand Carter's fondness for "victims" such
as Mirken, who was obviously picked on when he arrived to check
into a hotel to meet the "little boy" ... with precisely the amount of
money the undercover agent advised would be needed...

Carter loves Mirken. Two peas in a pod. Two birds of a feather.
Victims, always.

LOL!

Sue me, then. Go right ahead dear.

You have villified and castigated many of the members of this list in
a long history of pattern and practice of such libelous activities.

I've kept all the records, Mr..Fred Shaw.

As to Bruce, I will leave him to make his own choices as to whether
and to what degree a lawsuit against you for defamation and libel
would be a useful effort.

Indeed, it may be important for your growth and development to have to
address these matters in a court of law.

Carter struggles with the meaning of the word "libel" while
he engages it.

I must confess that I truly enjoy watching Carter struggle
in the quicksand of his fellow-colleague "victim" and buddy
Bruce Mirken's arrest on child molesting charges...
as Carter twists and turns in defending Mirken's actions as
"counseling" while Mirken was asking if the young lad
enjoyed swimming naked and if his mommy was home...

As we can all plainly see, George M. Carter is also a victim here ...

LOL!

Since you likely will receive public medical assistance, you really
don't have a choice as a doctor will be assigned to you.  Also,
a specialty in HIV is sort of a last resort, not to say that many
aren't perfectly qualified but I get the feeling that some of the
less qualified are essentially pushed into it (plus it is
definitely a steady paycheck, the government pays for everything
plus there is no shortage of new patients).  There really is no
variation in HIV treatment - there are maybe a dozen or so different
drugs, perhaps 3 or 4 each in each of the 3 or 4 classes of drugs,
and you will be prescribed one for each class, for a total of 3 or
4 main anti-HIV medications.  A blood test determines which drugs
your strain is already resistant to (gee, I wonder how that
happened).  The nurse takes your blood sample and the lab analyzes
it, and the doctor is essentially nothing but a prescription mill.
He really has no say, either the drug combo works or doesn't, and
it is the (very expensive) laboratory blood tests that determine
whether they are working or not.
