Many smokers smoke to actually clear their throats, they've been
smoking so long?
Researchers have found that "theobromine", found it cocoa, is one third
more effective than codeine in suppressing coughs?
Perhaps that would explain why hot chocolate helped me quit smoking
many years ago, I would drink a cup every time I wanted a cigarrette?
Of course getting the "sugar fix" probably helped my body get over the
nicotine lift it normally expected.
Researchers of course "caution" that you have to eat about 25 chocolate
bars to get the "quouted" dose? Come to think of it, I must of went
throught about 10 boxes of hot chocolate before I was really
comfortable again?
I did gain weight of course after quitting. However after I stopped
eating any kind of sugar products, and drinking soda, I lost about 20
pounds and I seem to have found a balance.
If hot chocolate is not your "cup of tea", they make a wonderful
product that consists of chocolate pills coated with candy. I believe
they are sold under the brand "M&M".
Have a wonderful day.

Cool. I love M & M's. I am a smoker plus a chocolate freak.
Can't imagine quiting either but it is still a great tip.

P.S. Did you know you can order M & M 's in custom colors at M & M's .com?
Now there is a useless bit of information unless you like the orange ones
best like I do.
