It may yet make a comeback, with caveats, in RSV infection. My boss
has some funky data which shows a hell of a difference if used in combo
with something else.

It's an odd one. I don't think anyone really knows how it works, and
it may well have different mechanisms for various viruses.
Still, the data we've got is pretty impressive - the trick is going to
be turning a mouse model into something clinically relevant. Along
with the rest of the controls, Ribavarin alone doesn't do a whole lot.
There's a synergistic effect of sorts...
