Ex-Lab Worker Questions HIV Test Results

By FOSTER KLUG, Associated Press writer

BALTIMORE - Thousands of patients could have received questionable HIV
(news - web sites) test results — not just hundreds, as hospital officials
have suggested, according to a former lab worker who says she believes she
was infected in an accident involving a faulty blood analyzer.

"Every single test that came off that machine should be in question, from
its first day in use," said Kristin Turner, a former lab worker at
Maryland General Hospital who is suing the hospital and the maker of the
analyzer for $30 million.

Same crap again. One machine was vekachte.

That doesn't mean all tests are worthless. Or that HIV doesn't exist
or cause AIDS. False arguments based on distortions of the facts.

"One machine was vekachte."

No. I have posted other article about faulty machines. The tests are also
worthless.

'AIDS' does NOT exist and the tests are a joke.

You have posted multiple copies each of several articles about ONE
faulty machine and tried to extrapolate, from this sample size of 1,
to an epidemic of faulty machines and incorrect test results.

The machine in question (a Labotech machine at Maryland General)
warned its operators that its results were questionable, and they
ignored the warnings.

The questionable test results were later found to be accurate.

An outright lie.

... Maryland General, an affiliate of the University of Maryland
Health System (UMMS), issued HIV and hepatitis test results to more
than 450 patients even though the readings on laboratory instruments
indicated those results might be inaccurate.

Edmond F. Notebaert, UMMS president, said retests have been offered to
about 2,100 patients, two patients who originally tested negative for
HIV tested positive in the retests and three who had tested negative
for hepatitis tested positive.

He said the new results don't necessarily mean the original results
were wrong because the status of the patients might have changed. More
than 1,000 patients have been retested, hospital officials say.

Retesting has confirmed that the original test results were
overwhelmingly accurate.

You are quoting the testimony of Edmond F. Notebaert on behalf of the
University of Maryland Medical System NOT the findings of the
investigation.

What do you expect him to say?

Another piece of your distorted reporting and bending of the truth.

What you would do in a situation like that is not what everybody,
or even most people, would do.  Don't assume most people are like
you -- they're not.  You're so far down the left tail of the moral
bell curve you need a telescope ro see the hump.
