Only vaguely aware of the details surrounding the controvery over the
use of nevirapine in Africa, well I thought the ANC was the ruling
party of South Africa and controlled its government, so if it feels
that nevirapine is unsafe why hasn't their administration banned it?
My guess is that it hasn't done so because they depend on their
role as perceived "victim" of evil white people. They could easily
put a stop to it because that would show they have control over
the situation and thus destroy their status as oppressed victim
of white imperialists. On the other hand, they might choose to
ban nevirapine as well as any other HIV drug they deem unworthy,
then whine about how the evil white imperialists are depriving
them of life-saving HIV medications. Whatever action they take,
you can be sure they will always play the race card.

Then you'll like to inform yourself before you think. Or guess.
