It is so easy to cure. Just like the 'witch problem' it just requires the
end to insane thinking.

LOL. My friend Casper wrote a nifty paper on diseases related to
hysteria, citing a very short term kuru outbreak as an example.

Somehow, nearly 25 years of HIV-1, research, humans all over (even
many who don't realize they have hiv til an OI develops), etc., is not
really comparable.

Anyway, my friend Casper unfortunately died of complications related
to AIDS nearly 10 years ago.

Like too many others.

"complications related to AIDS"

You mean liver failure or a heart attack from 'meds' side effects. Come
on. Tell the truth.

George, is your friend Casper's picture at this URL?

Nope.

When I clicked on
http://groups.msn.com/DissidentScientists/dissidentscientists.msnw

I see a picture of a Casper Schmidt. It is not the guy I knew at all.
I rather doubt there are two denialists with the same name, so
probably they just put some photo in. Who knows, the way these guys
lie.

They have referred to my friend before because of his "hysteria" model
to explain the AIDS epidemic, so I know they were talking about him.

The same picture is at <http://www.fumento.com/pozaids.html>, where
the man is identified as Joseph Sonnabend.

I thought he looked familiar. Well, Joe believes HIV exists and causes
AIDS. So one more claimed "denialist" who is not.

It's been almost 2 weeks now and Paul, characteristically, hasn't
corrected his mistake.  He's still showing a picture of Joseph
Sonnabend (no longer a dissident) with the name of Casper Schmidt
(no longer alive) below it.

That's right. And he's run away from the condom issue because he
realizes all that crap he posted is hysterical bullshit.

And Casper, who was a friend of mine, happened to have died of AIDS.

I still have a bunch of incredible CDs of Haydn quartets he gave me. I
didn't always agree with him but I honored his memory, just the same.

And Paul King (Mark Hanau) is still leaving this situation uncorrected
more than a month after it was pointed out:

Casper Schmidt is dead.  Joseph Sonnabend is not a dissident.
Paul/Mark has not corrected this error even though it was pointed
out over a month ago.

I notice Robert Root-Bernstein is there...  He doesn't belong: he's
not a dissident.

As long as these errors serve his purpose, by supporting an appeal
to authority (see
http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=1289980335eb62f0ed854a396e487ccb%40localhos
t.talkabouthealthnetwork.com

regarding appeals to authority), it seems Paul/Mark is unmotivated
to fix them.

What's the difference between a useful error knowingly left uncorrected
and a lie?

Nope. He developed CMV retinitis. He refused the drugs.

Which infection actually killed him, I'm not sure. But he was a young
fellow in good shape otherwise.

But he developed AIDS. And he f.cking died.

Like Pasquarelli. Like millions of others.

Like you may well if you're HIV+. Frankly, I wouldn't really give a
damn. Except for all the people you infected with your stupid, moronic
lies.
